We offer a unique assortment of fair trade handcrafted goods from artisans throughout the world chosen to satisfy your personal style & social conscience, as well as natural and green products that benefit you and the environment. We have numerous items made from recycled materials – fairly traded around the world and from artisans in the U.S. Our large array of fair trade goods include: gifts, clothing, accessories, bags & purses, jewelry, home décor, bamboo plates & bowls, embroidered & quilted bedspreads & throws, string doll gang keychains, baby items, clothes for American Girl dolls from Guatemala & Nicaragua, cards, stationary, elephant dung paper & bumper stickers, religious items, toys, soaps & shea butter, coffee, & candy. Fair trade enables artisans to earn a fair wage and provides the opportunity for a better quality of life, healthy working conditions, and concern for the environmental impact of products and production. Fair trade cooperatives support artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed. This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing. Eco-friendly products include reusable shopping bags & produce bags, stainless steel water bottles, books and many products using recycled materials such as the Osprey Resource recycled backpacks. We also offer all natural soaps & lotions, fragrances, and incense. |
